CICA Survey on Private Investment in Infrastructure

The evolution of Private Infrastructure Financing has been disappointing in recent years. In particular, after 2012, probably due to the effects of the international financial crisis

Some stakeholders see that investor requirements to support a project are increasing and will make it difficult to find viable projects. But there is no doubt that the infrastructure gap in the world increases every year.

In addition, the pandemic changes infrastructure needs and reduces the space in public budgets dedicated to capital investments.

The survey, prepared by the CICA PPP Working Group, tries to find out how the Companies and Chambers, related to CICA and its member Federations, see the situation. The same vision is requested from members of the academic sector and other actors in the infrastructure value chain.

Your response to the survey will be useful for CICA to define and propose institutional actions that promote Private Investment in Public Infrastructure.

CICA will be very grateful if you disseminate the survey. The results will be shared with all collaborators.
